About The Event


Join us for a hauntingly special event in Downtown O'Fallon! District Frights is a brand new event for 2025 you do not want to miss. You will find District Nights staples such as food, drinks, a rockin' band, and activities for the kids, but be careful! You will also find yourself walking into a haunted market with Halloween-themed goodies and entertainment for the whole family.

This family-friendly event is free for all ages. We encourage you to join in the spooky fun and wear your best Halloween costume! District Frights drink cups will be sold for $5 each at our participating food/drink vendors and at the info booth. Your cup purchase allows us to continue having amazing events like this in the Downtown District- we appreciate your support!

Vendors 

Vendors interested in participating in District Frights, please apply below.  All applications are juried as received, so apply early! The deadline to apply (if there are spaces remaining) is Saturday, September 6.

2025 Event Details:

  • The event will operate from 5-9pm.
  • This year the festival is free for customers- no tickets required to enter.
  • Activities throughout the event: performances, market vendors, food and beverage vendors, plus live music.
  • All applications are juried. Submitting an application does not confirm you have a received a spot at the market. Staff will reach out with a decision within three weeks of your application submission.
  • Outdoor stalls are 10'x10'. The Station (indoor vendors) has eight 10'x8' stalls, four 8'x8' stalls, and two 12'x5' stalls. Please note on your application which stall stype and location you prefer. We will do our best to accommodate the requests.
  • Some stalls have access to electricity. Please note on your application if you need electricity so we can do our best to place you in one of those stalls.

Please keep in mind this festival is for fun and is not associated with any Wiccan practices or rituals.


Application Tips

  1. We suggest previewing what questions are on the application and then crafting your responses in a document you can copy and paste from.  This way you will not lose your information if you are interrupted or the system times out.  Additionally, if you are interested in applying as a vendor to our sister event, A Wizard's Birthday, on July 26, you can copy and paste into that application too.
  2. Gather your photos in advance, you will need at least 5 product photos and one business logo.
  3. Choose the best photos possible! These are a large portion of what we base our decision on when jurying your application.  Additionally, these are the photos that may be used in promotion of the event and your business.
  4. Please do not send screenshots of products.  These photos are not useable.

Business logos are not required but it is more difficult for the festival to advertise for you and therefore less likely to happen.


Vendor Rules & Information


I hereby release the Downtown District from any and all liabilities for any damages or injuries to myself or any of my volunteers working at the District Frights while participating in the Downtown District event.





I hereby grant the Downtown District permission to take photos/videos of myself or any of my volunteers while participating in District Frights. I authorize the Downtown District to edit, copy, exhibit, publish or distribute the photos/videos and grant permission to the Downtown District and City of O'Fallon IL to use the photo/video in any and all publications including website entries, without payment or any other compensation to myself or any of my volunteers. I waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product, including written or electronic copy, wherein my photos/videos appear.
